Special meeting of the Land Committee – Chairman Ken Klawunder
Purpose; to establish a final ‘Request for Proposals’ (RFP) to be sent to responding surveyors, the only item on the committee agenda
Call to order - Chairman Ken Klawunder, 4:00 p.m. July 24th, 2006
Roll call- All present; Ponch Marchbanks, Thomas Imboden, Ms. Rita Wilson, Mr. Hayden Kayden, Ken Klawunder
The committee was asked to review the RFP document as the chair read the changes to the RFP from the computer screen. Once completed the chair asked for any questions or suggestions as changes to the document; there were no changes suggested.
Ms. Rosemary Matt, a person with whom the chair is working, was out of the office on Monday and would not return to the office until Tuesday morning sometime. With the importance of getting the RFP and related material to the Surveyors the chair opted for the below mentioned motion.
The Chair asked for a motion; “the committee gives the chair the power to make further appropriate changes to the document which will be later suggested by Ms. Rosemary Matt, a CBJ engineer and an unpaid consultant to the committee.â€
Mr. Thomas Imboden made the above mentioned motion and Mr. Rita Wilson second it.
The motion passed 5 to 0
The meeting was adjourned at 4:42 p.m.
