Summary of Committee Activities for the Past 4 Months

• Policy and Procedure: Annual Planning policy and procedure has been submitted to city council for your consideration.
  
• Policy and Procedure: continued working on Information and Communications - Still under development.
  
• Grant writer - The city is in the process of working with the granting agency (EDA) to use their award to hire the grant writer.
• Strategic Plan Revision - The planning committee has submitted a proposal for revising the Gustavus Strategic Plan by the end of 2011.
  

Summary of Proposed Activities for the Next 4 Months

• Continue working on Information and Communications Policy and Procedure.
• Coordinate grant writing efforts; supervise grant writer(s) and coordinate with other city staff

• Launch strategic plan revision if approved by city council.
• Recruit a successor for Wayne Howell if he does not apply to renew his committee seat.
