Special Meeting

August 16, 2007

Call to Order:  A special meeting of the Gustavus City Council was held on August 16, 2007 at 7:00PM

Mayor Marchbanks called the meeting to order at 7:00PM

Roll Call:

Comprising a quorum of the Council the following were present-

                Mayor Marchbanks

                Vice Mayor Howell

                Council Member King

                Council Member Klawunder

                Council Member Nixon

Absent:

                Council Member Atkins

                Council Member Heacox

Ordinances for Public Hearing:

·        2007-11NCO  A Ordinance for the City of Gustavus providing for the amendment of the budget for fiscal year FY08 for Denali Grant Income and Expenses.

Mayor Marchbanks read 2007-11NCO.

The Mayor opened the Public Comment Period.

Public Comment – None

Motion:                Council Member King moved that we pass         this Budget Amendment 2007-11NCO

Seconded By:       Council Member Klawunder

ROLL C        ALL VOTE ON MOTION:   5/0

·        2007-12NCO  A Ordinance for the City of Gustavus providing for the amendment of the budget of fiscal year FY08 to investigate relocation of the DRC.

Mayor Marchbanks read 2007-12NCO

The Mayor opened the Public Comment Period.

Public Comment- None

Motion:                    Council Nixon moved that we accept      

                                Ordinance number 2007-12NCO.

Seconded By:           Council Member Klawunder

Motion To Amend Main Motion:      

Council Member King moved to       put in Original Budget under City Reserve 0.00 and Amended Budget 3,000.00, otherwise it would stay the same.

Seconded By:           Council Member Nixon
