City Council Special Meeting

November 15, 2007

 

 

Call to Order:  A Special Meeting of the Gustavus City Council was held on November 15, 2007 at 7:00PM. 

Vice Mayor Marchbanks called the meeting to order at 7:05PM

Roll Call:

Comprising a quorum of the Council the following were present-

                             Mayor Klawunder             – Via Teleconference

                             Vice Mayor Marchbanks

                             Council Member Atkins

                             Council Member Berry

                             Council Member Nixon

                             Council Member Unkel

Council Members not in attendance-

Council Member Howell   - Absent/Excused

New Business:

§  GCN – Expenditure for Broadband Survey

GCN member Jim Martell explained the request for the expenditure of an amount that would exceed $2000.00.  Questions and discussions were asked concerning what would be happening and the technology.

 

Motion:                 Council Member Berry moved that the GCN Committee be authorized to spend up to $4,950.00 of committee funds for the purpose of hiring Borealis Broadband to perform the wireless broadband network design project.

Seconded By:       Council Member Unkel

No:                        None

                   

Motion Passes  6/0

Adjournment:

With no further business before the Council the meeting was adjourned at 7:19PM
