2.40.030 Fair and Open Access and Competition Policy

Policy:

It is the policy of the City of Gustavus to provide fair and open access to all features and facilities located upon lands under jurisdiction of the City through land ownership, contracts, or cooperative agreements with other government and private entities.  Restrictions shall be applied and opportunities accorded impartially and equally for the benefit of all. 

Procedure:

Municipal code, policy, resolutions, contracts and agreements regarding property under the jurisdiction of the City shall be written in such a manner that they assure fair and open access or regulate access in an equal and impartial manner.  

Construction contracts, competitive bidding, and local preference are addressed by Municipal Code, Section 4.16.
