MAY DAY ROW TO THE ISLAND FOR COMMUNITY PICNIC: Saturday, May 1 leaving the dock beach at 11:00 a.m. Row your boat or your kayak and bring something to share for lunch! Sponsored by Gustavus Public Library and Gustavus Boy Scouts, who will be helping with the picnic fire for hotdogs and marshmellows! See you on the beach or in the water!
MUSIC : Join us for BANJO every Monday afternoon at 5:00 p.m. (Beginners at 4:30 -- check with Ellie Sharman at the school.) Watch for posted notices for more banjo on first and third weekends in March.

MARCH LIBRARY STATISTICS: During March, 2010, we had 561 visits (adults, school children, preschoolers, jr/sr high, in-house computer users, library computer users), checked out 252 books, and 239 movies; for a total of 491 items. Programs included: Weekly K-2 library class; Grades 3-5 library class; daily after-school students; Presidents' Day Program with Ellie and Jess; and lots of lively discussions!
