Information on the government of the City of Gustavus
The City of Gustavus is governed by a City Council of seven democratically elected community members.
- City Council Work Sessions - 7:00pm 1st & 3rd Mondays of the month. There will be no 3rd Monday Work Sessions from May, 2014 through October, 2014.
- City Council General Meetings- 7:00pm 2nd Monday of the month.
- Work Sessions & General Meetings are held at City Hall

City Hall is located just west of the Salmon River Bridge on the north end of the Salmon River Park.
Hours of operation:
City Hall is open Monday through Friday, 9am - 4pm.
If you need an appointment outside of these hours, please call City Hall at 697-2451.
City Council Special Meeting to Swear in new Council Members and choose a new Mayor and Vice-Mayor will be held at City Hall on Monday, October 13th, at 6pm; the regular City Council Meeting will begin at 7pm.
